Owner, Chairman and Founder

Richard Jackson

Richard Jackson founded APX Stream in 2010 and remains its owner and Chairman. A Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), he began as an institutional consultant, analysing the data and metrics investors use to decide where to allocate capital.

Twenty years ago, he saw institutional allocation decisions move from relationships to data, starting at the screening stage. He built APX Stream to meet that shift. The APX Vault, a data warehouse, translates an asset manager's source data into the exact format each institutional consultant requires.

For clients, that background shapes how the platform works. Richard knows what consultants look for in a manager's data, so the Vault is designed around those requirements rather than around a generic template. Managers reach more consultants, free up staff time and can trust that investors see their firm accurately and in compliance. Consultants receive consistent evidence on which to base their decisions, which strengthens the manager's case for investment.

Richard has helped asset managers position their products for AUM growth through data marketing. He has been a public speaker and expert panellist on data marketing and due diligence for 20 years, so APX clients work with a founder who has followed this shift from its start and keeps close to how consultants evaluate managers today.

That experience sits behind every APX Stream service. Data should work as evidence, and managers should not have to rebuild it for every database.

Headshot of John Platner, Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer

John Platner

John Platner joined APX Stream as CEO in spring 2026, after a 25-year career at J.P. Morgan. He left as an Executive Director, having spent the last 10 years leading US Client and Global Consultant Reporting for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.

In that role, John followed the path that most asset management teams supporting consultant relations take. His team moved from manual data collection and reporting, to basic data collection with template automation, and then to becoming an APX Stream client. He chose APX Stream after searching for a client-focused vendor that could automate the full stack of consultant database and DDQ reporting, from data collection through delivery.

That makes John a former buyer of the service he now leads. He has managed the deadlines, reconciliation and consultant questions that APX clients handle every day, and he knows what a firm needs from a provider before it can rely on one. He evaluated APX Stream as a client, with the same scrutiny a prospect applies today.

APX Stream now works with more than 125 asset managers on data assembly, reconciliation and distribution. The platform populates over 60 consultant databases and automates quantitative DDQ responses.

John's priority as CEO is to keep that client perspective at the centre of the business. For asset managers facing a growing data management and publishing workload, he offers direct experience of the problem and of the solution.

Chief Operating Officer

Paul Peristiane

Paul Peristiane is Chief Operating Officer of APX Stream, where he leads operations, client service delivery and commercial infrastructure across the firm's offices in Boerne, Fairfield and London. He joined in 2026 with more than 25 years of experience in global asset management, spanning client operations, reporting, fund administration and distribution.

Before APX, Paul held senior leadership roles at some of the world's largest asset managers. He built functions from a single person into teams of more than 100 across the UK, Europe, the US and India, and advised executive leadership on strategy. He has led both operational and distribution functions, which gives him a clear view of how data, distribution and client service connect.

That experience matters to APX clients in three ways. First, Paul has delivered digital transformation, multi-jurisdictional regulatory change and large-scale operational change, so he understands the pressures that compliance and operations teams are under. Second, he has built teams and governance that hold their standard as volumes grow, which supports APX's full-service model as it scales. Third, he treats client experience as the starting point for process design, so what clients rely on today stays dependable as the business expands.

Paul believes great operations are a competitive advantage rather than a back-office function. At APX, he is building the processes, governance and technology that let the firm grow across the broadest set of database relationships in the market without compromising the quality of service. He is a regular voice at industry forums.

Chief Technology Officer

Aaron Carrasco

Aaron Carrasco is Chief Technology Officer at APX Stream, where he leads engineering and the technology behind a platform used by more than 125 institutional asset managers.

Aaron joined APX Stream in 2021 as a software engineer, straight from Texas State University. He quickly took on the company's largest technical projects, including rebuilding the platform's backend from the ground up and moving it to Microsoft Azure. That work underpins the platform clients use today. He was promoted to Director of Software Development and named CTO in January 2024.

For clients, the value is that the person leading the technology knows the platform from the inside, having rebuilt much of it. Aaron splits his time between building the product and working with the people who use it. He partners directly with clients and prospects on technical evaluations, security reviews and due diligence, so the questions your operations, information security and compliance teams raise are answered by the person responsible for the platform.

He is also driving APX Stream's investment in AI, with a clear aim: helping managers deliver their data faster and with less manual effort. Working directly with clients keeps that effort tied to the manual work they want to remove.

Aaron is based in San Antonio, Texas.

Chief People Officer

Lisa Jackson

Lisa Jackson is Chief People Officer at APX Stream, where she leads talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, HR policy and company culture. She has been with the company since 2011 and has helped build its team as it has grown into a full-service data management provider for some of the industry's top asset managers.

For a service business, the quality of the people is the quality of the service. Lisa's work determines who joins APX Stream, how well they are prepared and how long they stay. Clients work with a named service team in the US and UK, and Lisa's hiring and onboarding standards help ensure that team is well supported and ready to serve them from day one.

Her tenure adds continuity. After more than 15 years with the company, Lisa has seen how client needs have changed and understands what the team requires to meet them. That institutional memory helps APX keep its service consistent through growth and change, and reduces the key person risk that many firms worry about when they outsource a critical function.

Before APX, Lisa spent 17 years in media sales across print, radio and television. That career gave her a practical understanding of relationships, persuasion and what motivates people to perform. She applies it to building a culture in which team members are accountable to clients and motivated to deliver for them.

Lisa holds a double major in Mass Media and Communications from Houston Baptist University.

Headshot of Kent Costello, Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager

Kent Costello

Kent Costello leads new business development at APX Stream. He has worked in the institutional investing ecosystem for more than 15 years and has seen due diligence from the side of the asset owner, the consultant and the technology provider.

Kent began his career at Graystone Consulting, Morgan Stanley's institutional consulting arm, where he worked with university endowments and corporate retirement plans. He then founded a financial technology company that streamlined the due diligence process for asset owners, investment consultants and managers, and a category leader went on to acquire it. He later turned to ESG investing, working as global growth and partnerships lead at a growing data and analytics provider.

For asset managers considering APX Stream, that background is practical. Kent knows how consultants and asset owners assess managers and the data behind them, so he can explain how APX Stream's service fits into that process. Having built a due diligence technology business, he also understands the scrutiny that operations and compliance teams apply to a new provider.

Alongside his role at APX, Kent operates a tech-enabled ecosystem of curated fintech solutions that helps institutional investors discover and evaluate vendors in a structured way. Because he sees how buyers compare providers, he can give prospects a clear picture of where APX Stream fits.

Kent holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.

Headshot of Glen Racine, Head of Product
Head of Product

Glen Racine

Glen Racine has spent nearly 30 years in institutional asset management and investor services, most of it in the proposal teams that write RFPs, due diligence questionnaires and consultant questionnaires. At APX Stream, he is building an AI-powered RFP platform designed around how strong proposal teams actually work.

From 2012 to 2025, Glen was Executive Director and Proposals Global Team Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he led proposals for the Multi-Asset Solutions business and oversaw a second team covering Alternative Investment products. He managed nine writers and a team leader across New York, London and Mumbai, delivering about 500 projects a year, and supported several multi-billion-dollar mandate wins. He also led the team's move to digital tools, working with Technology to rebuild RFP content into a digital repository, automate proposal content and introduce its first AI tools for RFP responses.

Earlier, he ran a 16-person global team at J.P. Morgan Investor Services from 2006 to 2012. He began his career in 1996 at The Bank of New York, where he managed an RFP database of more than 11,000 entries.

For APX clients, Glen's value is practical. He has felt the problems proposal teams face: content that goes stale, answers that are hard to find, and writers who spend time searching and reformatting instead of shaping strategy. The platform he is building keeps content current, surfaces the right answer when it is needed and gives writers that time back.
